ZoDF CEO, Alhaji Halidu Haruna Assures Zongo Chiefs of Support for Communities

The Chief Executive Officer of the Zongo Development Fund (ZoDF), Alhaji Halidu Haruna, has reaffirmed the Fund’s commitment to accelerating development across Zongo communities.
Describing traditional authorities as “strategic partners” and “indispensable stakeholders,” Alhaji Haruna said the role of Chiefs is central to the successful implementation of sustainable development initiatives in Zongo communities.
He gave the assurance when the Zongo Chief, Imam, Magajiyas and opinion leaders from Manhean Zongo in the Ga West Municipality paid a courtesy call on him on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Fund’s offices.
The Manhean Zongo Chief, Sarki Alhaji Ali Alhassan, expressed appreciation for what he described as an “excellent reception.”
He also congratulated Alhaji Haruna on his appointment and thanked President John Mahama for selecting a leader with a long-standing dedication to the progress of Zongo communities.
He pledged the community’s support and looked forward to enhanced collaboration with the Fund.
