Some members and supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Manso Adubia Constituency of the Ashanti Region, have appealed to delegates to retain Mr. Collins Ankamah Asare as Deputy Constituency Organizer during the upcoming constituency executive elections.
According to the supporters, Mr. Ankamah has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the party’s growth and grassroots mobilization efforts, making him deserving of a second term in office.
The party faithful contend that Mr. Ankamah has distinguished himself as a hardworking and dedicated grassroots organizer whose contributions have significantly strengthened the NDC’s structures across the constituency.
Speaking to this paper, some supporters described him as a reliable party officer with extensive experience in election management, voter mobilization and campaign coordination.
“Collins has consistently energized the party base and strengthened our ward and polling station structures. He understands the needs of the grassroots and has always made himself available whenever the party calls,” a member of the party’s communication team stated.
Others noted that his close relationship with polling station executives and branch organizers has contributed immensely to party cohesion and organizational effectiveness.
“He is a grassroots man who listens to concerns and responds with action rather than empty promises. His accessibility and commitment have earned him the respect of party members throughout the constituency,” another activist said.
The grassroots highlighted Mr. Ankamah’s role in previous election campaigns, saying he played a crucial part in coordinating logistics, mobilizing supporters and safeguarding the party’s votes at polling stations.
According to them, his loyalty to the ideals and principles of the NDC remains unquestionable.
“Collins has remained steadfast and loyal to the party through both difficult and successful times. He works closely with other constituency executives and has always placed the interests of the party above personal considerations,” they said.
They stressed that continuity in leadership would be vital as the party begins preparations towards the 2028 general elections.
“Retaining Collins Ankamah will ensure continuity and allow the constituency to build on the momentum already established. We need experienced hands to consolidate our gains and position the party for future victories,” they noted.
They argued that competence, loyalty, commitment and hard work are essential qualities required to strengthen the party’s structures and electoral fortunes in the constituency.
“To win bigger victories for the NDC, we need leaders who understand the terrain, know the grassroots and have proven their capabilities over time. Collins Ankamah embodies all these qualities,” they emphasized.
The supporters therefore, called on delegates to overwhelmingly endorse Mr. Collins Ankamah Asare for another term as Deputy Constituency Organizer, expressing confidence that his continued leadership would contribute significantly to the party’s growth and success in Manso Adubia.
