McDan Cries Foul Over “Buyer Beware” Notice On Spintex Land

The McDan Group has strongly reacted to a “Buyer Beware” notice issued by the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) over a disputed parcel of land on the Spintex Road, insisting the matter remains before the courts.
The company described the publication as an attempt to tarnish its image and undermine the credibility of its Executive Chairman, Daniel McKorley, popularly known as McDan.
In a strongly-worded statement, the Group stressed that the disputed land case is currently pending before the Court of Appeal after it filed an appeal, making the matter sub judice.
According to McDan Group, all parties are expected to exercise restraint and avoid comments capable of prejudicing the judicial process.
The company accused unnamed persons of pushing “misleading narratives” to create the impression that it had acted unlawfully, insisting it has always operated within the bounds of the law.

McDan Group further urged investors, stakeholders and the general public to treat the GACL publication with caution until the courts finally determine the case.
The Group also hinted at possible legal action against any publication or statement it believes could damage its reputation or interfere with the ongoing proceedings.
