3 Missing Children Found Dead in Parked Vehicle; Vehicle Owner Arrested

Three siblings, who were reported missing on Saturday, October 3, 2026, have been found dead inside a parked vehicle at Koblimahagu Zuo in the Tamale Metropolis.

The children, aged three, five and eight, were discovered on Monday morning, October 5, after an extensive search had been launched for them.

Their deaths have sent shockwaves through the community, with residents mourning the tragic incident as police investigate the circumstances surrounding their disappearance and deaths.

The Assembly Member for the area, Seidu Fuseini, confirmed the discovery and said the owner of the vehicle had been taken into police custody to assist with investigations.

According to him, the vehicle owner told investigators that he had locked all the doors before leaving the vehicle.

A relative of one of the children, Mohammed Juuna, also said in a social media post that the children were found trapped inside the stationary vehicle near his brother’s residence in the community.

It remains unclear how the children gained access to the vehicle, how long they had been inside, or what caused their deaths.
