A heart-wrenching tragedy has struck the town of Japeikrom in the Jaman South District, following the death of 30-year-old Linda Effah, just one day before her scheduled wedding.
Linda and her fiancé were involved in a fatal road accident over the weekend while returning from Tema, where they had gone to finalize preparations for their wedding, which was set for Saturday, October 11, 2025.
According to media report, the groom-to-be sustained severe injuries, including fractures to both legs while returning to Japeikrom.
In a miraculous turn, the couple’s infant child—nearing one year old—survived the crash without injury.
The man is currently receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
Reporting for on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, correspondent Nana Kwame revealed that the accident has sent shockwaves throughout the local community and left both families devastated by the sudden loss.
The late Linda Effah was widely known and loved in her community. Her untimely passing, especially under such tragic circumstances, has plunged friends, relatives, and neighbours into mourning.
