A 39-year-old man, Evans Kwame Abofla, has been reported missing after leaving his residence at Kanda, a suburb of Accra, on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
According to family sources, Mr. Abofla, who lives alone, left home on the said day and has not returned since. All efforts to trace his whereabouts have so far proven unsuccessful, and his mobile phone has been switched off.
Mr. Abofla works with a private health facility at Circle. His employers reportedly contacted his family after he failed to report to work for days, prompting a search.
Upon visiting his residence, relatives found the door to his room was locked, thereby forcing it to open, but he was nowhere to be found.
The family subsequently reported the incident to the police. Law enforcement agencies have since issued a public notice, appealing for information that could assist in locating him.
Evans Kwame Abofla hails from Anlo Afiadenyigba in the Volta Region. He is fair in complexion, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and speaks English, Ewe, and Twi.
The incident has left his family, particularly his elder sister, deeply distressed.
